WXR-2533DHP AOSSボタン押下のboot

BUFFALOのAOSSボタンを押しながらのブートをすっかり忘れていた。
WXR-2533DHPで試してみたところ、U-Bootコンソールでの

run ramboot

と同じ挙動で、192.168.11.10 のTFTPサーバにinitramfsファームの wxr2300dhp-initramfs.uImage を取りに行き、それをRAMに読み込んでブートが行われた。

設定値

  • Device IP (WXR-2533DHP): 192.168.11.1
  • Server IP (TFTP Server): 192.168.11.10
  • File: wxr2300dhp-initramfs.uImage

手順

  • AOSSボタンを押しながら電源スイッチを入れる
  • WXR-2533DHPのWireless LEDが1回点滅するのでAOSSボタンを離す
  • 少しするとWXR-2533DHPがTFTPサーバからinitramfsファームをダウンロード
  • RAMへロードされそこからOpenWrtが起動

AOSSボタンを押す時間が長いとWireless LEDが複数回点滅するが、1回の点滅で十分。

本来はここからsysupgradeイメージでFlashに書けばOpenWrt化完了ですが、現在のビルドで試したらイメージ壊れて起動しなくなりました。U-BootがRootfsとしてチェックを行う “ubi_rootfs” ボリュームについて、メーカーファームとOpenWrtファームとでボリュームの位置が異なることを考慮し忘れて間違った位置に書き戻そうとしていたことが原因。sysupgradeスクリプト直します…。
